With every project be it large or small, Jones Lambell will discuss with the client their aims and objectives to ensure that we are able to meet these. If the project involves an existing building we will suggest that a walk around is arranged so that the design possibilities can be assessed and points of concern can be aired prior to any work being carried out.
Historical Building /
Jones Lambell has extensive experience working on Listed Buildings for both Grades 1 & 2, together with buildings located within Conservation areas. We have a successful record in negotiating planning solutions which satisfy our both our client’s requirements and those of the relevant authorities.
Drawing on years of experience, Jones Lambell has worked on projects both within and outside of London to achieve Planning Permissions and Listed Building Consents for our clients. We have also worked closely with planning authorities for overseas projects and successfully achieved the relevant permissions.
Construction Drawings /
From the approved Planning drawings we will then develop a scheme, producing a full set of technical drawings and specifications to enable the project to be tendered to various contractors for pricing. These construction drawings are fully co-ordinated with the drawings of other consultants for the project which usually include the services of a Structural Engineer, Mechanical & Electrical Engineer etc.
In addition to collaborating with other Interior Designers, we can also provide a full interior design service if required. The amount of assistance can vary according to suit a client’s requirements. This can vary from advice with curtaining and furniture or a complete service whereby we are able to purchase everything for a turn-key project where all the furniture, fittings and accessories are provided and installed.
We act as contract administrator throughout the construction period. We make regular inspections to site, co-ordinating meetings and acting as lead consultant
